support family friends suicide

Support for loved ones of people with suicidal tendencies

If one of your loved ones has suicidal thoughts and/or suicidal behavior, your life is turned upside down. I recognize this feeling like no other, due to my own experiences with suicidal loved ones. I have also supported people in personal journeys and in peer support groups. You may feel trapped and paralyzed by emotions, guilt, fear, and control, and feel powerless. You see your partner, brother, sister, parent, or one of your children slipping away, and you don’t know what to do.

Need for support for loved ones of people dealing with suicidal tendencies

I feel a deep need and calling to support people dealing with suicidal tendencies, and their loved ones. Today’s society puts so much pressure on people, which is too much for some. Fortunately, there is a lot of awareness (that things can be different) and healing is possible with the right therapy and healing techniques. I am happy to contribute to this with my support.

I am here for you and your loved one. Together, we will talk and work together. I work with various techniques and methods, which I use intuitively. My way of working is loving, gentle, safe, honest, and professional.

Goal of counseling for loved ones of people dealing with suicidal tendencies

The intention of my counseling for suicidal tendencies is to help you, as a loved one, find the resilience to endure this process and help your loved one feel the spark of life again. And to say yes to life wholeheartedly, to “stop surviving” and start healing.

Support with acceptance and grief

I am also there for you when your loved one reaches a point where they really no longer want to or can live. This is also a scenario you may have to deal with. I will guide you through this process of acceptance and grief, so that peace can be found and you can move towards a fitting farewell together. Even after the death, I offer aftercare and grief and loss counseling.

Free, no-obligation introductory meeting

Seeking help in this situation can be difficult and stressful. I give you the opportunity to get to know me at your leisure. This can be done during a free, no-obligation half-hour meeting. During this meeting, you can get a sense of my energy and we can discuss your request for help and how I work. We will agree on the frequency of the appointments in mutual consultation.
